Hewitt's of Muskoka Produce Market is operated by Adam Hewitt, and has been serving the Muskoka community since 1997.

Agricultural Roots (1976)

The foundation of the business began in 1976, when Ron and Linda Hewitt started farming and selling sweet corn just west of Orillia in Warminster, Ontario. Over the next few decades, the family established a widespread reputation across the region for high-quality local produce, eventually expanding the home farm to include a year-round farm market, a bakery, and a network of regional roadside stands.

Expanding into Muskoka (1997)

Building on the success of the home farm's sweet corn and produce, the family extended its reach further north into cottage country. In 1997, Hewitt's of Muskoka was established in Bracebridge to serve the local community and seasonal visitors.

Operated by Adam Hewitt, the Muskoka market was created to bring the absolute freshest Ontario fruits and vegetables directly to the gateway of cottage country.

 

Hewitt's of Muskoka Today

Now operating out of its location at 173 Wellington St. in Bracebridge, Hewitt's of Muskoka has spent nearly 30 years serving the community. It operates as a high-volume, seasonal hub open 7 days a week from late-June until late-September.

While the market sources a wide variety of local Ontario produce, its long history is built on a few signature specialties:
